Machining performance of 5052 h32 aluminum sheet:
1. Formability:
Aluminum sheet 5052 h32 has good hot working plasticity. Forging and die forging can be performed at a temperature range of 420-475°C, with a deformation rate exceeding 80%. Cold stamping performance is related to the alloy state. The cold stamping performance of the annealed (O) state is good, followed by H32 and H34 tempers, while the H36/H38 temper is poor.
2. Weldability:
Aluminum 5052 h32 sheet has good performance in gas welding, arc welding, resistance welding, spot welding, and seam welding. Intergranular cracks are prone to occur during argon arc welding. Brazing performance is still good, but soft brazing performance is poor. The strength and ductility of the weld seam are high, with a strength of 90%-95% of the base material strength. However, the airtightness of the weld seam is not high. It is recommended to use 5A03 aluminum alloy as the brazing material to improve airtightness and eliminate crack tendencies.
3. Processing performance:
The cutting performance of 5052 aluminum sheet in the annealed state is not good, but it improves in the cold working-hardened state.
Surface requirements for 5052 h32 aluminum sheet:
1.The surface should be free of cracks, corrosion spots, and nitrate traces.
2.Peeling, bubbles, surface roughness, and local mechanical damage are allowed, with a depth not exceeding 8% of the nominal wall thickness of the defect, but the maximum depth of the defect should not exceed 0.5mm, and the total area of defects should not exceed 5% of the total surface area of the sheet.
3.The 5052 aluminum sheet supplier is allowed to polish the profile longitudinally to a smooth surface.
4.Other requirements should be determined by the buyer and supplier.
5.The surface of the aluminium sheet 5052 h32 should be bright, without scratches, and there should be fewer particles on the stamped plate.
